about me

Thank you for visiting my page and wanting to learn more about me. I was born and raised in Naples, Florida. Ever since I could remember I was always in some sort of athletics. I grew up playing baseball and football, but when I got to high school I decided to stick to one sport and put all my energy into baseball.

There have been some major sacrifices made around this sport throughout my life, from traveling the country all summer playing on travel ball teams, to not being able to see friends and family on birthdays and even some major holidays. During high school I was the guy who stayed home on the weekends practicing in the back of my house trying to better myself for the upcoming games that week. In the summer time it was vise versa, I would be practicing during the week getting ready for the tournament I had that weekend. You would never catch me out at parties because I was too focused and would get lost in my training and loved every minute of it. Most of the tournaments I had were out of state so there was a lot that my parents had to sacrifice as well, such as all the travel expenses pretty much every weekend during the summer. It was a lot of time, energy, and money invested into my baseball career but it always kept the family together and we wouldn’t take that back. I would have definitely not been able to do it without the support of my parents.

Towards the end of my high school career things started to fall in to place for me. I started receiving some attention from college coaches and recruiters, then my junior year I ended up signing to play division 1 baseball. This was a huge accomplishment for me not only because I was going to be able to play at the D1 level, but also because of all the hard work I had to do in the classroom as well as all the extra curriculum courses to make sure I had the grades to be eligible to play at the college I was signed to. Going in to my senior year I was a little more relaxed. I had already signed to play college baseball and I had all my grades made up and was eligible for the college level. This was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders because now I could just relax and focus on having fun playing the game I love. Going into my senior year of baseball there were some pro showcase events I had the opportunity to be invited to. Long story short, I was at home sick from school with a fever and had a pro showcase that night (a pro showcase is where they invite the top seniors of your class from all the schools in your county and play an exhibition game so it gives you an opportunity to showcase your skills in front of professional scouts so maybe you can catch a pro teams attention and give yourself a chance at being drafted out of high school) I didn’t want to go to the showcase because I felt terrible and I didn’t know what to expect by going that night. My parents talked me into it so I decided to go and at the end of it I had one of my best performances and had a couple pro teams show interest. During my senior year season they would come out to games and scout me, at the end of the season I had a couple meetings at my house with some of the pro scouts.

My whole life I have been dreaming and working towards this crazy goal of playing professional baseball but never would of thought I would be an interest to some teams, yet even be drafted. On June 7th 2014 I was on a cruise ship getting ready to set sail and I got “the call.” The GM for the Seattle Mariners on the other side of the phone telling me that they were about to take me in the draft, as I see my name being called in the draft it was a feeling that i’ll never forget the rest of my life. I was there with my family to celebrate and yes I cried. (just a little) It was perfect timing, I got drafted the first day of a 7 day cruise so we got to relax and celebrate a bit. Not going to lie I was anxious the whole cruise though because at the time all I wanted to do was get back home sign my contract and fly to Arizona to get to work with my new team. When I got home from the cruise the rest of my family was there to surprise me as well as a man named Noel Sevilla, he was the scout who scouted me from the Mariners. Next thing you know we were sitting down signing the contract and the next day I’m on a plane to Arizona to start my professional baseball career. I spent 3 years with the Seattle Mariners and two with the Minnesota Twins, and it has been the best time of my life so far…

Story time is over, its time to get into the main reason of why I am here and why you’re on this website. With being a professional athlete and getting my body through all the daily games, there is 24/7 nutrition and fitness training that goes into it. These are two things I have always been obsessed with since I was young and have made part of my lifestyle. I believe the proper nutrition and fitness training has dramatically helped me achieve some of my most challenging goals and I think most people will agree that achieving a goal that you have put your blood, sweat, and tears into is one of the best feelings in the world. After experiencing this first hand, it has become a passion of mine to help others achieve their fitness and nutrition goals and it is a great feeling for myself when I can help someone else feel better about themselves in anyway possible. With my experience with success and learning from my failures it is a pleasure to be able to share my knowledge with you. If I can help people better themselves and bring some positivity into their lives in anyway then I’m doing my job and happy while I do it!

The only decision that I could control was whether I wanted to show up to that showcase or not. By showing up and giving it my all, I made my choice and controlled the only aspect of the situation that was in my hands. After that, it was in the hands of the scouts to decide whether they wanted to take a chance on me, and they did. This is all to say, that if you control whats within your powers and focus all your energy on what you’re trying to achieve, then all you can do after that is just let things happen the way they’re supposed to. Trust the process, but you must do your part. The Law of Attraction!
